Hello — and what this is

This is the first post on the new site. The plan from here is short and specific: ship working notes from the build, not personal essays. Most of what shows up over the next year will be technical writeups — Microsoft Fabric, Medallion architecture decisions, MCP server design, the small weird discoveries that come from building production systems alongside an AI pair.

• A sanitized walk-through of the five-source Medallion lakehouse architecture at a healthcare workforce MSP, focused on the decisions I'd make differently if starting over.
• The MCP server I'm building to expose Fabric warehouse and semantic-model operations to AI clients — design tradeoffs, sharp edges, and what the server-as-interface pattern looks like in practice.
